The STAHLWERK charger IBC-50 ST with intelligent microprocessor control guarantees efficient and safe charging of all 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries, AGM, VRLA, MF, SLA, GEL batteries. The battery charger has 4 different charging modes: 6V charging mode, motorbike 12V charging mode, car 12V charging mode as well as a 12V winter charging mode especially for using the unit in low outdoor temperatures. After connection, the intelligent control of the car charger analyses the type and state of charge of the connected battery and switches to the appropriate charging mode as required. By pressing the button, the various charging modes can be called up and selected one after the other in a simple and straightforward manner. Thanks to the large illuminated LCD display, all values are easy to read. Old or deeply discharged batteries can be refreshed with the help of the repair charging mode. When the battery is fully charged, the unit automatically switches to the trickle charge function to preserve the battery and maintain the ideal state of charge. The battery charger has overcharge, polarity and short-circuit protection. This protects the charger and battery from damage. Two fully insulated battery clamps to connect the batteries easily and safely to the battery charger are included. Thanks to the robust construction, the unit is shockproof, splashproof, dustproof and suitable for outdoor use.
