The Tecnoroller NG auxiliary tyre changer helper arm (3rd arm) allows for quick and safe mounting of all types of tyres, making work particularly easy with low-profile tyres (UHP or RFT).
The device is equipped with a roller that works in close proximity to the mounting head, helping to press the tyre bead into the central recess of the rim or pull it out during dismounting.
The second pressure point is installed on the movable auxiliary arm located above the head; it follows the tyre during rotation, keeping the tyre bead in the central recess of the rim.
The roller is driven by a powerful (5500 N) double-acting pneumatic cylinder, while the drive of the next auxiliary arm has a separate cylinder that develops a force of 2500 N.
The kit also includes a wedge for mounting the tyre.
