Exhaust gas temperature sensor socket is designed for installing and removing exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensors. The side cutout allows the socket to be fitted over the sensor without disconnecting or damaging its wiring, making the tool especially practical for working with sensors that are already connected.
The socket can be used with a 1/2" ratchet as well as a 24 mm spanner. The short design provides easier access in confined areas, while the 1/2" drive allows greater torque to be applied when loosening tightly fastened or seized EGT sensors.
Made of durable chrome-molybdenum steel (CrMo) and coated with a black phosphate finish.

Application
The socket is designed for replacing and servicing EGT, or exhaust gas temperature, sensors. It is particularly useful for repairing diesel engine exhaust systems, where sensors are often located in hard-to-reach areas and may become tightly seized after prolonged use.
