FIMA belt drive pumps stand out for their high performance, high reliability and low level of noise. These merits are the result of many years of experience and constant research, coupled with a drive to always improve the quality and the efficiency of the product. The raw materials are and have always been of top quality, as indeed all components used. This series is available in the single stage version with air displacement up to 480 l/min (17 CFM) and in the two stage version with air displacement up to 2255 l/min (79,6 CFM). Both versions are fitted with aluminum heads with large fins and aftercoolers for efficient cooling. Stainless steel valve plates for high resistance, cast iron cylinders, traditional pistons and connecting rods with splash pin for better lubrication. Cast iron crankshafts, one-piece aluminum crankcases to eliminate oil leakage, larger oil sight level for easy check and high efficiency air filters.
An A-section (classical) pulley is not suitable to transmit such power, as it would operate at its limit with increased risk of slippage and reduced service life. For this power level, a narrow V-belt profile (SPA/SPB) is technically required.
