We would like to inform you that as of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR) will be delivered to Latvia and will be binding on all service providers. HCT AUTOMOTIVE SIA is confident that all personal data is smooth and secure, as personal data is processed using existing data protection officers and will be prepared in accordance with the Regulation, where you will find a quality service.

Distance Agreement
If a distance agreement has been concluded between you as a consumer and HCT AUTOMOTIVE (if you have agreed to purchase a new product or equipment or have ordered a service remotely using electronic communication means, such as the HCT AUTOMOTIVE website), then in accordance with the laws, without specifying a reason, you can exercise the right of withdrawal and unilaterally withdraw from the contract within 14 days. SIA HCT AUTOMOTIVE TERMS OF WARRANTY FOR GOODS/EQUIPMENT/SPECIAL TECHNICS/TRAILERS
SIA HCT AUTOMOTIVE provides a warranty for product groups in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, if the product is used in accordance with the user manual and for the intended purposes of the manufacturer.
All warranty conditions and terms specified by the manufacturers of these goods apply to the products sold by the Seller to the Buyer, as defined in the specific technical documentation of the product, if attached. The warranty period is calculated from the moment the respective product is sold to the Buyer.
During the warranty period, in case of the need for repairs, the product must be delivered to "SIA HCT AUTOMOTIVE," presenting the original purchase document - the receipt, and a filled-out warranty card.
The warranty covers only defective spare parts and does not cover service work related to their replacement, as well as does not cover transportation costs (costs for traveled kilometers). The warranty does not apply to oils, lubricants, technical fluids, insulation materials, light bulbs, fuses.
If the products cannot be repaired and need to be replaced, the Buyer's obligation is to deliver them to the Seller in the original packaging and original configuration, except in cases where it is not required by the warranty terms of the respective product manufacturer.
If it is determined that the products sent for warranty repair abroad comply with the specifications, standards, and technical conditions specified in the technical documentation of the goods and operate perfectly or have been damaged (due to unauthorized repairs, unauthorized changes to the configuration, etc.), warranty repairs for these products will not be carried out, and the Buyer covers the expenses related to the transportation of the goods and other associated costs incurred by the Seller.
The warranty is valid only for goods purchased from 'SIA HCT AUTOMOTIVE' in Latvia
For analog products purchased in European countries, in case of the need for warranty repairs, they must be delivered to the store specified by the product seller.
The buyer covers the costs of normal maintenance, preventive maintenance, or replacement of parts that are not defective.
The warranty does not include the transportation of the goods - delivery to the store and delivery after repair. Warranty repairs are carried out only in certified service centers.
WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY

If the damage occurred due to improper use, modification, alteration, poor maintenance, inadequate maintenance, or negligent care.

If the damage occurred due to non-compliance with the instructions given in the user manual.

If the product has been repaired by the buyer personally or in any service that is not a certified service.

If the products have been used for commercial purposes (e.g., rented, taxi, operational transport, sports events).

If the buyer cannot present the purchase document - receipt and correctly filled-out warranty card.

WARRANTY CLAIM SUBMISSION:
To have the warranty of "SIA HCT AUTOMOTIVE" considered, the customer must submit a completed SERVICE REQUEST www.hct.lv on the website under the SERVICE section. If that is not possible, the customer should contact the service department by phone to arrange further action. When submitting a warranty request, the customer is provided with an Acceptance-Delivery Certificate, confirming that the customer has handed over the product for warranty consideration.
