Tooth design - 3.5 teeth per inch with a positive 10° tooth angle provides the following benefits: - faster and more aggressive cutting, - improved heat dissipation during cutting, resulting in sharper teeth for longer, - deeper curved tooth gaps provide more efficient chip evacuation, preventing chip build-up and heat generation, - the specially shaped tooth angle has less tendency to catch thinner materials, - the teeth are arranged alternately laterally to minimize grip and friction, - lower feed pressure is required - this is achieved by the combination of aggressive tooth geometry and good chip evacuation, as a result less force is required when drilling.
Tooth material - Matrix II type high-speed cutting steel is used for the tooth area of the ring saw. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, allowing the teeth to maintain their original tooth hardness even at high working temperatures when working in the field of metal cutting. Bi-Metal Construction - High speed steel teeth are laser welded to a high alloy steel body. The teeth are vacuum hardened to 65 HRC at a temperature of 600°C, ensuring maximum strength and long service life. Thanks to the high wear resistance of the Matrix II material, these ring saws are ideal for cutting complex and hard materials such as stainless steel and acid-resistant steel, as well as softer materials such as wood.
Circular Saw Body - 1.27mm thick steel circular saw body is rigid to maintain shape and flexible. - The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.
Back plate construction - the back plates are made of thick steel, so the openings do not get wider over time. Thick rear sections increase strength and stiffness, minimizing vibrations. 4 drive pin holes make it easy to position the drive shaft. Perfectly machined round back plate, which is especially important for larger diameter ring saws.
Diagonal sockets facilitate core insertion and removal.
